Teeth Whitening

It is a very effective procedure wherein teeth can be whitened by using bleaching materials. Depending on a patient's convenience,this procedure can be easily performed in office as well as at home.

Tooth Jewellery

To add an extra zing to your smile, small crystals can be easily bonded on the tooth. These can be easily removed without causing any damage to the tooth structure.

Fillings

Filling is a simple and generally painless procedure wherein tooth decay is removed and the cavity formed is filled with either amalgam (silver filling material) or composite (tooth coloured) material.

Root canal treatment is done on teeth wherein the tooth decay enters the pulp of the tooth thereby causing infection. RCT is done to save the tooth from extraction (tooth removal). At Dr. Meera's Dental Clinic, root canal treatment is done in a single sitting by a root canal specialist.

Crowns are put on root canal treated teeth.

Bridges offer a fixed replacement of missing teeth. They are made of porcelain or metal.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

To maintain good oral health and hygiene, it is advisable to get professional cleaning of teeth done once in six months. This helps to remove tartar from the teeth and keeps the gums healthy.

Gum Surgery

This is required in cases of severe gum disease. Curettage, flap surgery, reduction of gummy smile and other related procedures are done by a Periodontist (gum specialist)

Sealants

Pit and fisure sealants are used to seal the potential areas of cavity formation i.e. deep grooves. Presence of the sealent would prevent food lodgement in these area.

It is often seen that the third molars (wisdom teeth) remain stuck in the jaw bone. At times the eruption may be partial and malpositioned resulting in pain and sometimes infection. We can remove the wisdom teeth through a minor surgical procedure.

X-rays are taken for diagnosis and during treatment.
